Our Vision
Bioinformatics is a transpiring interdisciplinary branch of Life Science that combines Biology, Mathematics, and Information Science. Bioinformaticians are involved in analyzing the human genome, identifying targets for drug discovery, developing new algorithms and analysis methods, studying structural and functional relationships, and molecular evolution. Hence the course is designed to extend the knowledge on various aspects of Molecular biology and genetics, information technologies, and computer science. Our vision is to provide students with a foundation for performing research in the field of bioinformatics. The curriculum focuses on teaching the concepts, language, and skills that bioinformaticians must have to operate in a collaborative, interdisciplinary scientific environment. Read More
Our Mission
We provide high-quality learning on basic and comprehensive molecular biology, genome engineering, bio-molecule analytical techniques, and in-silico molecular studies with an emphasis on problem-solving and research.
We foster interdisciplinary research and training in the fields of microbiology, bioenergy, plant biotechnology, and immuno-informatics.
We impart challenging and motivating scientific experiences that will create interest to learn science through research and appreciation of science.
We synergize between research and professional development of undergraduate students within a community of highly qualified faculty members.
